Went out to have dinner at a south african restaurant called ollivetti’s near red hill, appetizers were good, snoek paste & biltong paste with a nice bread, boerowors with monkeygland sauce. Enteé was salmon and prawn Boboeti (like a quiche). Main was a chicken and prawn curry, it was slightly bland for my taste, it also felt very rustic compared with the rest of the menu. Although South African food in my experience is not haute cuisine by any means, I felt that it felt that specially the main was too home made. The worst part is that the main was the only dish that is a regular on their menu.
